À la réception, j’ai d’abord cru que les haltères étaient défectueux et j’étais prêt à les retourner. Finalement, après échange avec le service client, précisément Emma (très réactive et professionnelle), je me suis rendu compte qu’ils avaient simplement été montés à l’envers par erreur. Une fois remis dans le bon sens, tout fonctionne parfaitement ! Le produit est solide, bien conçu, et conforme à mes attentes. Merci encore au SAV et Emma pour leur efficacité !

I saw a couple of reviews on YouTube before deciding. I spent more money than I originally wanted but I am so happy it did. The quality is incredible. I feel safe using the weights and it is a pleasure to workout with them. I am super happy. I am not surprised that they have the reputation to be the best on the market.

My purchase started very bad - the address was not correct so it took extra weeks to arrive. and then one unit turned out to be used and damaged, so I had to send 1 back. All were resolved with customer service, which is very nice and helpful.So, the dumbbells. They are solid, they look nice. They are easy to use. Compared to the pair of Powerblocks I own in another home, here are their strenghts and weaknesses:+They take like 1 second to adjust weight. In Powerbloch this takes 3-10 seconds, which is still great, but come on- 1 second!+They look and function like a dumbbell. Powerblocks look like little cages that you stick your hand into, which limits many movements.+They are one of the smallest adjustable dumbbells I've seen. And the smaller weight you choose, the smaller the dummbbell you lift, which is the same with Powerblocks but not with many other adjustable dumbbells.-The weight can be adjusted in 1.5kg steps. Which in itself is not bad but Powerblock has this in 0.5kg steps. Granted, it takes longer to make smaller increments but still.-You have to put them back to their cradle to adjust weight. And you shouldn't try otherwise either. With Powerblocks this is not an issue.-The handle is thicker than an average dumbbell. I had some hand pain until I got used to it. Powerblocks handles are smaller than average and are covered in rubber, which kept strong after 10 years of 4 workouts per week.-The used unit I had had the plates installed backwards - When I tried to check how it worked, the plates just fell off. Now I can't entirely trust the dumbbells, eventhough I understand they won't fall off when installed correctly.-They are not to be dropped. And they give a somewhat fragile feeling too. Powerblocks feel more solid, eventhough they are mostly covered in plastic. I'm afraid to do lying lat extensions with these.-There's a little wobbling (very, very little) which may concern some obsessive people like me. I mean, I know it's normal and not at all dangerous, that's what you get with a moving mechanism, but still.All in all, I'd still prefer the Braingains over the Powerblocks, but only because my current workout regimen favors it. I hope they last as long as them.
